Back in '97 when I have imported Vana I was looking for something: Graaf Festus v Neerlands Stamm headtype.
During the years I strived to keep this type and I think I've managed to do this.
Vana was not what you can call a "show dog", her value was more in reproduction. She was a very strong female, with a long, narrow head.
Of course she won Romanian Junior Champion title, several CAC & CACIB, several BOB's.

Graaf Tila v. Neerlands Stamm |

I have imported Toro (Tila's pet name) in 1997, at the age of three.
He was a very succesfull show dog with a lot of working drive, scoring 271 points in SCH 1 (100 points for attack). Medium high, very strong bones, very fine proportions.
He was used as stud also in Romania and abroad and I think he did his part on this side, his progeny being a real improvment to the breed.

Sonya was a real show dog, medium size, strong bones but very feminine.
Owned by a former coleague o mine, Dr Nicola Calin, was never trained for working purposes. It was more a spoiled pet, but with an open character, joyfull........
